[Place] Ibusuki, Kagoshima.

[The number of attendees] 7 people

Hi everyone, I’m the leader of PoGO Club Tokyo.

I’ve come to Ibusuki, Kagoshima to hold the Eeveelutions Poké Lids Tour!

First, I’d like you to explain why I hold it.

Ibusuki in Kagoshima Pref. is where Eevee and Eeveelutions Poké Lids are located.

A total of 9 Eeveelutions Poké Lids are installed and a character from Eeveelutions is painted 1 per lid.

However, due to inconvenient transportation, it is extremely tough to find and collect gifts everything.

The distribution of manholes is divided into the north area and the south area.

Most are in the south area.

It’s easy to find in the southern area, but harder in the northern area.

And it’s easy to go there quickly by car, but there are no buses at all💦

There are 2 or 3 buses on a day.

That means…

If sightseers come, they will not be satisfied.

I thought that we could join a guided tour at least.

So, I asked the local government.

<The Leader’s Journal>

March, 2023

Visited Ibusuki City Hall.

Presented to a city officer about the Eeveelutions Poké Lids Tour together with Ibusuki City!

I also proposed to run an Eeveelutions bus.

But they said they are impossible due to problems with copyrights and finance.

And I lost touch with them.

June, 2023

I heard an offer from Ibusuki Tourism Association!

They would support the Eeveelutions Poké Lids Tour.

This was great news!

I shared the background and details of this plan.

They agreed to submit the plan to the council, but I lost touch with them…

Oh my・・・

Whatever. Forgot it.

<Then, he closed his journal, stood up, and said>

I’ll do that!!

That was the story about “Why did I hold the tour.”

The Day of the Eeveelutions Poké Lids Tour

I went to today’s meeting place, Ibusuki station.

There was a water department officer and a journalist from the Minami Nippon Shimbun newspaper waiting for me.

They came to see us about the tour.

Thank you very much😊

The tour began at 11:21 on Nov. 21st.

Started from Eevee Poké Lid; a journalist took this photo.

A few attendees brought a hand-made Sylveon hat and paper Poké Lids.

Impressive!!

It was good to have our Ambassador’s flag.

Now the time for departure.

The journalist saw us off. Let’s go to the next Poké Lid!

At the beginning of the project, we had planned to use rental bicycles, but there were just enough people to fit in a car, so we decided to go around by car.

Share friend codes and add.

A session photo with friends.

Adorable Espeons♡

With Penny’s bag on my back.

Flareon’s Poké Lid is in front of Natural Sand Bath Center 'SARAKU.'

It used to be in a far away place until recently, but now it seems like it has been moved to a location where it can be easily seen.

A huge Eevee was waiting inside!

An attendee wearing an Eevee costume also had a great time.

The Vaporeon Poké Lid is a short walk from Natural Sand Bath Center.

This guy came from Hong Kong and visited Eevee manholes.

We met in other places too!

We continue the tour, say hello to Glaceon and Sylveon…

Umbreon Poké Lid is behind the Ibusuki station.

It took a while because we had to take a detour to get to behind the station by car.

And we ran the north the car to the farthest Poké Lid from the station, Leafeon.

Go straight to Ibusuki Eco- Camping Ground!

Leafeon

I met a friend from Campfire, so I talked with them.

And saw again the Hong Kong guy. lol

Finally, we went to Jolteon Poké Lid.

I talked to the lady there, she knew about the Eeveelutions Poké Lid Tour!!

She seemed my X account follower.

I gave her a gift code to commemorate our encounter.

Thanks for her great help!

After visiting 9 manholes, we returned to Ibusuki Station.

A newspaper journalist was waiting at the station to interview me.

We discussed today's impressions and future requests for local governments.

"Even locals don't have many opportunities to go around, so I'm glad that people from outside the prefecture come and organize events like this."

"I came from other prefectures and thought I wouldn't be able to tour this area alone. I'd be grateful if I had a guide."

They talked about the necessity of the tour and so on.

I hope this becomes a newspaper article and catches the attention of local governments and tourism organizations♪

I would also be happy if there was a group that does activities.

I realized after holding this event that I was really glad that I didn't use rental bicycles.

There were only about 5 bicycles in the station parking lot...

We can't all go around.

Again, the support of local government will be needed.

Unfortunately, there was no support from the city and Tourism Association this time, but I am glad that we were blessed with the attendees.

If there are any organizations or individuals who see our activities and would like to support us, please contact us!!

We’re looking forward to hearing from you.

I was given a card with Origami Eevees♪

Thank you soooo much! I’ve got a souvenir on my life.

I would love to hold the tour again!

In the end, I want to say “Thank you” to all attendees ♪

See you next time… Bye!
