Happy New Year, everyone🎍⛩

I went to Harajuku area to visit Meiji Shrine with members.

And Canadian tourists joined us!

At first, we went to Meiji Shrine for Hatsumōde*

*Hatsumōde: To visit a Buddhist temple or Shinto shrine for the first time in the year, of the Japanese New Year.

Pass through the big Torii gate, there was a huge crowd of people until we got to the main shrine💦

The Canadians said it was their first time seeing it 😳

We finally arrive at the offering box and make a wish 🤲

“May our Pokémon Go Club Tokyo be peaceful.”

Did it reach the Gods?

As soon as we left Meiji Shrine, we took our first group photo of the year.

Today’s guests, the Canadians are a couple.

The girlfriend is more enthusiastic about Pokémon Go; she always borrows her boyfriend's smartphone to catch Pokémon (lol)

They're really close🤣

Then, we were at Takeshita Street.

Today's main event is the Stamp Rally.

【How to join】

Read the QR code on the poster at each store with a special app and collect 6 digital stamps, you can draw a lottery.

This was hard work💦 

It could be in a different location than the one shown in the photo, or it could be in the back of stores, so we had to go into stores.

It was more difficult than searching for a PokéStop😓

But members took the lead, our stamp collection went smoothly.

On the way, our guest told us to eat sweet potatoes, so we took a detour.

Wow.

A shiny Tang… no, it’s Mont Blanc of Imoya Imoko (いもやいもこ)

When we collected 6 stamps, we drew a lottery.

(Can be withdrawn within the app)

And, our friends took the A-Prize!

Congratulations🥳

The praise is a balloon with a Poke doll inside.

We immediately went to exchange it.

Well, that's a very lucky person.

We enjoyed the Stamp Rally, and it was the time for desserts. 

I had a food that I wanted to eat; I came to preview it yesterday.

Ta-da! It’s crêpe! 

This one has Crème Brûlée in it and is delicious 😋

I'm glad I was able to eat it early in the new year!

The stamp rally after that went on without a hitch...

We all worked together and tried it again.

“It was over there!”

“It’s here too!”

“Eh, it was in a place like this!?”

It was so fun, like a treasure hunt♪

One of the QR codes was displayed on the digital signage.

We didn’t notice till a friend told us. It was not easy.

We found the whole of the QR codes and finished at 18:00.

It was just the raid hour started.

We wrapped up after two raid battles.

The stamp was complete!! ️

It was great to meet friends in the new year.
